FAQ Genie is Level 0: it reads only your store's policies, settings and content to build grounded FAQs. It never reads orders, customers, or checkouts.

What FAQ Genie accesses

Product titles and on-page content — context for grounded FAQs. Never orders or customers.

`read_content / write_content`

Read your shop policies (refund / shipping) to ground facts; write FAQ content back only on your action.

`read_online_store_pages / write_online_store_pages`

Create or update a store page with your FAQ content + FAQPage JSON-LD.

What it never touches

No orders, no customers, no checkout data. The mandatory GDPR webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) are answered truthfully: we hold no customer data, and on uninstall every record we keep about your shop is deleted.
